Yosemite Western Artists is a California based non-profit organization founded in 1969 by a group of artists and art enthusiasts interested in sharing their work and experience, and learning more about the arts.  The organization flourished, and continues to this day as a community sponsored enterprise dedicated to the development of the visual arts in the area. 

The Tri-County Exhibition is a thirty year tradition in the Southern Sierra Foothills.  The show is open to California artists at all skill levels, working in all media.  The show offers cash prizes in fine art, photography, people's choice, and student categories, and ribbons in many subcategories.
