Stellar Gallery is proud to continue its association with Sierra Art Trails. The gallery showcases one Sierra Art Trails artist each month, and a selection of donated works by Sierra Art Trails artists are available for sale at the gallery on a regular basis. 

 February’s Artist of the Month is pastel painter

Anne N. McClure 

“I paint because I love to, because I’m addicted to the art of pastel”

Anne’s work will be on display beginning February 6^th. 

 “A Day with the Artist” - Visit with Anne at the gallery on February 10, from 11-5:00 p.m. If you’re a pastel collector this is the place to be!

The demo piece Anne creates on the 10th will be raffled for $1.00 per ticket.   Drawing will be held at the end of  February.  All proceeds will  benefit Yosemite Western Artists.  www.yosemitewesternartists.org

      Anne McClure began her career as a fashion illustrator and designer. Her passion for pastel started around the age of seven. The subjects Anne paints are diverse, including Western and Historical subjects, animals and nature, still-life, landscape, figurative painting, and portraiture. 

       Anne works in a realistic style, softened by a gestured freedom in the details of the work. Her works are colorful, expertly rendered, and confident in composition and form. Although working with pastels is her current passion, she is also an accomplished oil painter.  Her extensive experience in art and design allows her to excel in any medium. She is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America, the Pastel Society of the West Coast and the Alliance of California Artists.

Valentine’s Day is coming!  Visit the gallery for  selected works by jewelry artists Anne Bredon, Judi Gooch, Joy McClure, and Yvonne Sarazin .

The Orchard

“The Orchard”, a profound body of work by Master Ceramist Amy Morgan, is now on display at Stellar Gallery. The masterpiece of the series is her “Tree of Life”, a stunning ceramic sculpture that combines the artist's vision of herself and the orchards of the San Joaquin Valley.  CLICK HERE to read the full press release.

Blown Glass Artist Geoffrey Vassallo offers blown glass undersea creatures including fish, squid, and jellyfish.  Works by Christian Guenther's include large eccentric multi-colored art glass sculpture, bowls and vases.

Also on display are photographs by Heidi Vetter  well known for her images of the High Sierra landscape, and a diverse collection of works by Jonathan Bock including ceramics, prints, and photography.
